A Cold Day at Columbus Zoo

We had a great day at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. It was cold so we didn't see a lot but it was a fun way to spend a few hours. After the zoo we drove over to Westerville and saw the Hoover Dam (no not the famous one) but it was absolutely beautiful there with all the snow. We had a great day!!!!

New old Jeep

The old station wagon broke down. YES!!! We replaced it with this old Jeep. It is a 1965 cj5. It has been great.

Trip to Ferron

Noah got sick the night before so Gretchen stayed home to take care of him. We missed them but Ferron was great! We went with some people in the ward, and Dad (Wayne) was our guide.

Building the carport

Ice fishing with the boys

We havent caught any fish ice fishing this year but it has been a lot of fun anyway.

James got his hunters safety. Grandpa took us out to Muddy Roads outfiters and this is how he did.

We are all doing well. Gordon is big into duck hunting right now. James and Charlie have both been able to go once. Charlie loved it but James went on a very cold day and was very cold.

The boys are loving school and doing well.

Deer in Wyoming

Gordon was able to go with his Dad last Saturday and fish all the spots that his Grandpa used to fish. He said the country in Star Valley was beautiful and it was great being able to spend that time alone with his Dad. Here is picture that Gordon took of some deer they saw while fishing.

James Gecko Godzilla

After months of research and saving his pennies, James finally was able to buy a leopard Gecko. She is a pretty Orange and black. Luckily for mom she is not a quick runner and can't climb walls to get out of her cage. He is thrilled with her and I have to admit she is pretty darn cute.

LAGOON

The boys had lots of fun on our first trip to Lagoon. Charlie was at the perfect height he was big enough for the big rides and still small enough to ride the little kid rides, one each either way and he would have been out of luck.

James was pretty brave riding Colossus and the Wild mouse with me but neither of us dared to try Wicked.

Isaac and Noah had a lot of fun on the little kid rides. Lagoon is a lot different from when I was a kid. They didn't use to have all the stuff for little kids.

Anyway, a great time was had by all.
